We Need Your Help
Berwick Coastwatch is run entirely by volunteers.
If you enjoy being by the sea, like meeting people and can spare a few hours a month, you may want to join us! No prior experience is necessary and relevant training will be provided to enable you to become an effective Watchkeeper. Berwick Coastwatch is a uniformed organisation and this helps us in our role, being easily identifiable by members of the public. After joining you will need to provide your own uniform, consisting of dark trousers and white shirt with a naval style dark blue jumper with epaulettes. Members of the team can advise on the best place to get any items of uniform. Relevant insignia will be provided by the organisation. Why not come along to the Coastwatch Tower and meet us and find out more. We are usually open for visitors Saturday and Sunday mornings and Wednesday or Thursday afternoon. Alternatively get in touch using the contact form on this website and we will arrange a suitable date and time for you come along to the tower and find out more. Berwick Coastwatch depends on donations. Please help support our work by donating to us at the Coastwatch Tower, write to us at the address on the bottom of this page or use the donate button below: |
