Seals
A popular and frequent sight around our coast and often seen out on the rocks in front of the Coastwatch tower.
Seals need to come out of the water to rest and digest their food. Please do not disturb them, view them from a safe distance and keep dogs on a lead and well away. Young seals can sometimes be found alone on a beach - they are usually fine and do not need to be in the water. Please leave well alone and do not touch them. If you think a seal is sick or injured, please contact British Divers Marine Life Rescue (BDMLR) on 01825 765546 |
